Position Announcement

Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties is hiring an Audio Producer to collect food bank client stories and turn them into NPR-style podcasts. Story formats include individual client audio diaries and in-depth interviews with a broad range of clients. Deliverables will be 1-2 audio diary podcasts in the style of Radio Diaries (http://www.radiodiaries.org/); 2-3 audio food journals; and 4-5 non-narrated themed pieces each highlighting different client populations (teens, homeless, families, seniors). This is an independent contract position (~10 hours a week) with a competitive stipend. There will be a review 2 months into the project to ensure the position is a good fit and the deliverable timeline is about 8 months (flexible).
