The In The Dark Audio Award is back! For the second year running, In The Dark is joining forces with Sheffield Doc/Fest, the UK’s leading documentary organisation and festival, to present an award specifically devoted to audio documentaries from around the world.
The In The Dark Audio Award highlights a new wave of global creativity and innovation in audio storytelling.
The Prize
The winner will be announced as part of Sheffield Doc/Fest’s official awards ceremony, and will receive a prize of £1,000.
All shortlisted finalists will also be included in the festival’s official screening selection.
In The Dark will also be teaming up again with The Guardian to run a series of podcasts featuring some of our favorite work from the submissions.
The Judges
The winner will be chosen by a panel of international radio documentary and podcast makers:
Sherre DeLys (Producer, ABC, Australia)
Martina Castro (Co-founder, Radio Ambulante, Latin America & USA)
Boz Temple-Morris (Founder/Producer, Holy Mountain, UK)
and will be chaired by Nina Garthwaite (Director, In The Dark, UK).
