• JoLT (Journalism Leadership Transformation) Fellowships

Details: Three funded Fellows simultaneously will earn a Master’s of Art in Game Design while working to reorganize the way media are communicated, analyzed and produced from a leadership perspective.

• ABOG Fellowship For Socially Engaged Art
Deadline: Nov. 23, 2015
Details: Project support of $20,000 with minimal restriction for artists who demonstrate artistic excellence and serve as innovative conduits for social change. Proposed projects will be judged on artistic excellence, capacity to enact social change, viability in everyday life, and fit with fellowship resources.

• Princeton in Asia Fellowships
Deadline: Nov. 13, 2015
Details: PiA offers year-long, service-oriented fellowships in 21 Asian countries in the fields of education, international development, public health, environmental advocacy, journalism and business, with a majority of fellows working as English teachers at universities and high schools.

• Bicentennial Swedish-American Exchange Fund
Deadline: Nov. 15, 2015
Details: Up to SEK 30,000 ($3,450) in support of intensive research trips to Sweden of 2-4 weeks in length. Applicants should have well-developed projects within the prioritized fields of politics, public administration, working life, human environment, mass media, business and industry, education or culture.

• Health Coverage Fellowship
Deadline: Nov. 30, 2015
Details: The Health Coverage Fellowship is designed to help newspaper, radio, television, and online reporters and editors do a better job covering critical healthcare issues. Each year 10 journalists are selected from across the country for an intensive 9 days and nights of training. The fellowship is housed at Babson College’s Center for Executive Education in Wellesley, MA.

• APSA Congressional Fellowship Program for Communications Scholars and Journalists
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2015
Details: Early-to mid-career scholars and journalists receive $38,000 and a travel allowance to learn about Congress and the legislative process. Broadcast and print journalists must have a bachelor’s and 2-10 years full-time work experience.

• Alfa Fellowship Program
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2015
Details: Fifteen accomplished young Americans and Britons receive a monthly stipend, language training, program-related travel costs, housing and insurance for a professional development program in Russia. Russian proficiency is preferred.

• Nieman-Berkman Fellowship in Journalism Innovation
Deadline: Dec. 1, 2015
Details: A $65,000 fellowship over nine months for journalists to work on a specific course of research or a specific project relating to journalism innovation at Harvard University.

• Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University
Deadline: Dec 1, 2015 (international applicants) or Jan. 31, 2016 (American applicants)
Details: A $65,000 fellowship over nine months for 24 journalists with at least five years of experience to pursue a course of study at Harvard University.

• Yale World Fellows Program
Deadline: Dec. 2, 2015
Details: A four-month residential fellowship at Yale University to cultivate and empower a network of globally engaged leaders who are innovating in their fields.

• Rhode Island Innovation Fellowship
Deadline: Dec. 11, 2015
Details: Two applicants will receive up to $300,000 over three years to develop, test and implement innovative ideas that have the potential to dramatically improve any area of life in Rhode Island.

• NPR Kroc Fellowship
Deadline: Dec. 31, 2015
Details: Over the course of a year, the three Kroc Fellows get rigorous, hands-on training in every aspect of public radio journalism, both on-air and online, including writing, reporting, producing and editing. The Fellowship is designed to offer exposure to various units at NPR, in both the News and Digital Media Divisions, and at an NPR Member Station.
