I don't know anything about Blank on Blank, but this might be worth looking into if you're a freelance audio person looking for work.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My media nonprofit, Blank on Blank, is looking for some smart

freelance audio editors with a creative ear who can make rough
interviews shine. Must be able to work remotely and be able to clean
up interviews recorded on cassette or digital recorder. Three-five
minute finished audio pieces include tracks and music, so music
knowledge is a plus–though not required. Pay per interview project.
Drop a line to info at blankonblank dot org.
Thanks
David

  1. Hi Nikki. Just wanted to let you know that you need to email info at blankonblank dot org directly to apply for this position. I just pass along these posts as I find them, but I’m not related to Blank on Blank directly. Good luck!

  3. David, I am in the Denver/Boulder area, but I can record, edit and send from anywhere. I produce about 8 interviews a week for KGNU, for several shows on news, non-profits, and the arts. I also edit kids’ work as student reporters. See EatYourRadio.kgnu.org. I produce audio for professional websites as well.I have my own equipment including a voice-over booth. I have a flexible schedule and am looking for up to 40 hrs/week of contract work.Give me a shout at 720-938-6054.

  4. Dear Mr. Gerlach,

    I’m interested in learning more about the Freelance Audio Editor opportunity. I am currently Media Coordinator for Webster University in St. Louis and have 39 years broadcast experience. Most of the time I was Production Director and currently have access to a studio that uses adobe audition. I have produced for radio syndication and edited my own “raw tracks” interviews with music. I believe I have the skills to meet your needs. please contact me with details at jamessinger85@webster.edu if you feel that I qualify.

    Thanks for your time,

    Jim Singer
