Terri Cheney’s NY Times Modern Love essay on her struggle with bipolar disorder was adapted into an episode of the new Modern Love series (she was played by Anne Hathaway!) & can be heard on the podcast voiced by actress Rebecca Hall. You’ve seen her work in Psychology Today (where she has a regular column), Glamour, & she’s published two NY Times bestselling memoirs, Manic (which was optioned by HBO) & a prequel, The Dark Side of Innocence: Growing Up Bipolar. Her personal essay collection, Tell Me Where It Hurts: A Manual to Modern Madness, will be published in fall 2020.
