Looking for a good storyteller in Chicago who has a journalism skill-set
that includes solid photography. This person will visit a Chicago start-up
for 1-2 hours and take some quick-turnaround photos, following the
guidelines I provide.
Ideally, you'll be able to collaborate with me by following a shot-list to
help capture the story of the people behind this start-up, while also
keeping an eye out for anything exciting that might be happening.
The shoot can take place anytime between Friday morning (Nov 14th) and
Monday afternoon (Nov 17th). We'll coordinate a mutually agreeable time
for everyone involved.
What I'm not looking for is a wedding photographer, an Instagram hobbyist,
or a professional portrait photographer. Rather, this role is for a
journalist or marketer with a good eye for image composition and a strong
sense of story.
This pays hourly (not per image) — think tape-sync, but with images
instead of audio. The rate is $50 per hour, with a minimum of $100.
