We meet as a unit at 12 noon Friday, Aug. 20 at the Media Workers
Guild office in San Francisco.
On the agenda: We will be talking about choices in health coverage.
It's important to have as much input as possible, so be there if you
can.
We will also hear from Danny O'Brien, late of the Electronic Frontier
Foundation. Danny heads up the new San Francisco-based branch of the
Committee to Protect Journalists, which concentrates on protecting
online journalists from intimidation, imprisonment and murder, as well
as defending the medium of the internet itself.
We've got an exciting line-up of speakers and workshops in the
pipeline. In September, we'll hear from blogging expert Tim White on
driving traffic to your web-based work.
